Makeup Marathon

Makeup artists + Models + Photographer + 6 hour shoot = MAKEUP MARATHON!!! Saturday, May 14th, I hosted my very first Makeup Marathon event at the Rand Hair Salon in Torrance! I came up with this event after being approached by various artists and models who wanted to build their portfolios. I thought bringing them all together would create a fantastic opportunity for networking, building skills & having a great time! We were also very fortunate to have support from several makeup sponsors for our event. Everyone was so excited that these companies wanted to partner with us, and we are so grateful for their support. And thus, Makeup Marathon was born. It was a very long and hard journey leading up to the event. I was in over my head preparing, scheduling and organizing for the big day, and when Saturday finally arrived I crossed my fingers and prayed that I could make it through the long day ahead! I am happy to report that the Makeup Marathon was successful, and I was so pleased with the outcome. Everyone was working so hard and they seemed to have a great time! I cannot say thank you enough to all of the participants and people who supported me along the way. This event would not have been possible without each and every one of you, so thank you from the bottom of my heart
